Used Original 1965/1966 Montgomery Wards Riverside Benelli Moped Engine. This is the Itailian Benelli engine that Wards used in their 150D and 250D Riverside models mopeds. Prior to 1965, Wards Riverside mopeds were rebadged Motobecane mopeds. This engine is already cleaned and polished and is in excellent cosmetic condition. The engine includes the original installed magneto. We have never attempted to start this engine. We do believe the seals, bearing, clutch, main gear and shaft and the rest of the enternal components are in good working condition but we cannot gauarntee the ring wear or cylinder compression. We definitely recommend installing fresh rings and servicing the ignition prior to installing.

*Damaged cylinder walls, gouged piston surfaces and broken rings
*Connecting rod vertical play
*Crankshaft lateral and vertical play
*Cracked, damaged or altered cases
*Transmission play and friction (when applicable)
